The IBO 5" SD submersible pump is a multi-stage design with increased sand resistance, intended for supplying water to single- and multi-family houses, farms and industrial installations. The gray cast iron body and AISI 304 stainless steel elements ensure durability in deep wells, and the floating impellers reduce the effects of periodic sand in the water and extend the life of the device.

Application
The 5" SD series is intended for collecting clean water from drilled deep wells for the needs of single- and multi-family houses, farms, irrigation systems and industrial and drainage installations. The sand-resistant design tolerates water containing up to 5% sand.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 145 mm, with a maximum temperature of pumped water of up to 35°C. The 5" SD 400 V submersible pump works with standard hydrophore tanks, pressure automation and protection against dry running selected for the well conditions.

The IBO 5" SD series pumps share a common multi-stage design and identical materials regardless of the model. The individual variants differ only in the operating point with a common performance characteristic - thanks to this, the selection of a model comes down to matching the parameters of the well and the water demand, without changing the principles of installation or operation.
Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the drive against overload, and the motor's oil cooling ensures stable, continuous operation.
