The IBO 5" SD submersible pump is a multistage design with increased resistance to sand, intended for drawing and pumping untreated water in single-family and multifamily homes, farms, and industrial installations. The gray cast-iron body and AISI 304 stainless-steel components ensure durable operation in deep wells, while the floating impellers reduce the effects of periodic sand contamination and extend the device’s service life.

Application
The 5" SD series is designed for drawing and pumping technically clean untreated water from drilled deep-water wells for single-family and multifamily homes, farms, irrigation systems, and industrial and drainage installations. The design’s increased resistance to sand allows it to handle water containing up to 5% sand. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 145 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 5" SD 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks, pressure-control systems, and dry-run protection devices selected according to the well conditions.
