Application
The 5" SD series is intended for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water intakes for single-family and multifamily homes, farms, irrigation systems, and industrial and drainage installations. The design’s increased resistance to sand allows it to handle water containing up to 5% sand. The pump is not a water-treatment device – if it is used for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 145 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 5" SD 400 V submersible pump is compatible with standard hydrophore tanks, pressure-control systems, and dry-run protection devices selected according to the well conditions.
