Features, description, and technical data
The 5" IPRO 20-040 submersible pump is powered by a three-phase 3~400 V motor (50 Hz, 2850 rpm) and operates in a vertical position. IP68 protection, class F insulation, and continuous-duty operation allow continuous underwater operation, with immersion down to 150 m and liquid temperatures of up to 35°C. The 3" discharge connection and capacity of up to 650 l/min allow large volumes of water to be pumped. The device is marked “Italian technology" on its nameplate.
The construction is based on materials selected for operation in deep-water intakes. The housing and filter screen made of AISI 304 stainless steel, as well as the shaft and rotor made of AISI 420 steel, do not corrode on contact with raw water and retain their strength during long-term operation. The PPO polymer impeller and diffuser are lightweight and wear-resistant, the sliding sleeve and coupling are made of AISI 304 steel, and the ceramic/SiC/NBR mechanical seal protects the motor chamber against water ingress. The pump has a built-in AISI 201 stainless steel check valve that prevents the water column from flowing back after shutdown.
