Description
4" FP4 A007 – 230 V multistage submersible pump
The 4" FP4 A007 submersible pump from IBO ITALY is an Italian multistage design made entirely of stainless steel, intended for drawing and pumping raw water in single- and multi-family homes, farms, and industrial and fire protection systems. DRY RUN PRO technology increases resistance to seizing in the event of dry running, while the option of horizontal or vertical installation provides greater installation flexibility.
Who is it for?
- Owners of single- and multi-family homes – the series’ wide range of power and performance makes it possible to choose a model suited to the well depth and water demand.
- Farms and horticultural operations – the higher-output models in the series power irrigation systems, sprinklers, and drip lines.
- Industrial and fire protection systems – the all-stainless-steel construction and option for horizontal operation are suitable for non-standard installation layouts.
- Installers – the option to order a cable in a length selected in 5 m increments makes it easier to adapt the pump to the depth of a specific well.
Applications
The 4" FP4 series is intended for drawing and pumping clean raw water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industrial applications, and drainage. The construction tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend providing appropriate water treatment.
The pumps can operate in a vertical or horizontal position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump is compatible with standard hydrophore tanks and pressure control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The 4" FP4 series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – ensuring corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve limiting water return from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizing during brief periods of dry running. The 230 V version is supplied with a starting box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – 4" FP4 submersible pump
What well is the 4" FP4 submersible pump suitable for?
The pump is designed for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm. Before purchasing, it is worth checking the actual borehole diameter to avoid installation problems or motor overheating.
What makes the 4" FP4 pump stand out?
The pump uses DRY RUN PRO technology, which increases resistance to seizing during brief periods of dry running, and it can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal position. The built-in floating impellers and check valve further extend the device’s service life.
What is the difference between the 4" FP4 pump and the IBO 4" SD pump?
Both series have similar applications and diameters, but they differ in the body material – the 4" FP4 has a suction and discharge body made entirely of stainless steel, while the 4" SD uses brass for this component. The choice also depends on whether horizontal installation is required, which is available only in the 4" FP4 series.
How do I choose the 4" FP4 pump model for my needs?
The choice of model depends on the well depth and the amount of water required simultaneously – the series includes a wide range of variants with different pumping heights and capacities, from modest domestic needs to larger agricultural and industrial systems. If you have any doubts, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
Where can I buy the 4" FP4 submersible pump?
Dambat does not sell directly. 4" FP4 series pumps are available from commercial partners, plumbing wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
What warranty conditions apply to the 4" FP4 pump?
IBO ITALY – 36-month (3-year) manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
