The IBO 4" ST 8-16 submersible pump is a multistage centrifugal device with a diameter of 100 mm, powered by a three-phase 400 V supply. Thanks to its increased resistance to sand and floating impellers, it also operates reliably in water intakes with poorer water quality. It is used to draw and pump raw water from a deep well for use in domestic and agricultural applications as well as irrigation systems.

Applications
The 4" ST 8-16 submersible pump is designed to extract and pump clean, technically usable raw water from drilled deep wells. It is used in households and farms supplied by their own water intake, in heat pump installations, and for supplying irrigation and drainage systems. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pump operates in a vertical position, submerged in a well with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm. The raw water being pumped must not contain mechanical impurities beyond the permitted sand content, and its temperature should not exceed 35°C. The 4" ST 8-16 400V submersible pump is a durable solution for long-term operation on a farm.

The 4" ST 8-16 pump is a multistage centrifugal device with a diameter of 100 mm, powered by a three-phase 400 V supply. The use of floating impellers and increased resistance to sand ensure reliable operation in water intakes where standard submersible pumps would experience accelerated wear. The permitted sand content is up to 5%, and the motor is oil-cooled.
Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the device against overheating. The suction and discharge bodies are made of brass; the housing, shaft, and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel; and the impellers and diffusers are made of PPO polymer. The mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. The pump is supplied as standard with a 20 m power cable.
