4" SKT 200 – peripheral 400 V submersible pump
The 4" SKT series consists of monobloc peripheral submersible pumps with a 4" diameter, powered by three-phase 400 V voltage and equipped with a brass impeller and brass connectors. They are designed for installations requiring higher power with low current consumption – available in 1.1 and 1.5 kW versions with a 15 m cable terminated with a plug.

Application
The 4" SKT series is designed for drawing and pumping clean, technically untreated raw water from deep-water intakes and tanks for multifamily homes, farms, and service and industrial facilities equipped with a three-phase electrical installation. The pumps operate exclusively with water free of solid contaminants – the medium must not contain solid particles or abrasive substances that could damage the brass impeller and mechanical seal. The pumps are not water-treatment devices – when using the water for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate treatment.
The 4" SKT series submersible pumps operate in a vertical position and can be submerged to a maximum depth of 80 m. The permissible temperature of the pumped liquid is up to 35°C. The devices are compatible with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control systems.

How does the 4" SKT series differ from the 4" SKM, and when should you choose the 400 V version?
The 4" SKT series is the three-phase equivalent of the 4" SKM – both series have the same hydraulics and head parameters, but the 4" SKT is powered by 400 V. The three-phase motor draws significantly less current at the same power (e.g. 2.7 A instead of 10 A at 1.1 kW), reducing the load on the electrical installation. The 4" SKT is the right choice wherever a three-phase 400 V network is available – typically on farms, in service facilities, and in multifamily buildings.
Can the 4" SKT pump handle water containing sand or other solid contaminants?
No. The 4" SKT series pumps are intended exclusively for use with clean water. The presence of solid particles or abrasive substances may damage the brass impeller and mechanical seal. If the water source contains sand or suspended solids, install a filter before the pump or choose a model adapted to such conditions.
Does the 4" SKT pump require a starting capacitor or starter box?
No – this is one of the practical advantages of three-phase power. 400 V motors start automatically without a capacitor, so there is no need to install an external starter box.
