IBO Series 4" SKM are monoblock, peripheral deep well pumps with a diameter of 4", equipped with a brass impeller and brass connectors. Available in three powers (0.75, 1.1 and 1.5 kW) and with a 15 or 20 m cable, they cover a wide range of applications - from home installations to larger farm and agricultural facilities.

Application
The 4" SKM series by IBO is intended for drawing clean water from deep wells and tanks for the needs of single-family houses, multi-family houses, farms and irrigation systems. The pumps work only with clean water - the medium cannot contain solid particles or abrasive agents that could damage the brass impeller and mechanical seal.
4" SKM 230 V series deep well pumps operate in a vertical position, immersed to a maximum depth of 80 m. The permissible temperature of the pumped liquid is up to 35°C. The devices work with standard hydrophore tanks and pressure automation.

What is the difference between the variant with a 15 m cable and the variant with a 20 m cable?
The variant with a 15 m cable has a starting capacitor built directly into the engine - the electrical installation is simpler and does not require additional elements. The variant with a 20 m cable is supplied with a separate jumper box, which includes overcurrent protection and a switch. The box provides additional protection of the motor against overload and allows you to manually turn off the pump without interfering with the electrical installation.
Can the 4" SKM pump pump water containing sand or other solid impurities?
No. 4" SKM series pumps are intended only for operation with clean water. The presence of solid particles or abrasives may damage the brass impeller and mechanical seal. If the intake contains sand or suspended matter, use a filter before the pump or choose a model adapted to such conditions.
How to select the appropriate power of a 4" SKM series pump?
The power selection depends on the depth of the static water table, the length and diameter of the pressure pipeline and the water demand in the facility. The 4" SKM series offers powers of 0.75, 1.1 and 1.5 kW - the deeper the well and the greater the demand, the higher the power. If you have any doubts, please contact our technical department.
