4" SD 6-14 – 400 V multistage submersible pump
IBO's 4" SD series consists of three-phase, multistage submersible pumps with a diameter of 98 mm, designed for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm. Of all IBO submersible pump series, the SD series offers the widest range of models – flow rates from 80 to 500 l/min and heads of up to 169 m – meeting the needs of both domestic installations and demanding industrial applications.
Who it's for
-
Facilities with three-phase power – IBO's 4" SD series is a solution for farms and industrial and construction facilities equipped with a 400 V network.
-
Farms and irrigation systems – models with flow rates of up to 500 l/min and heads of up to 169 m meet the needs of even the most extensive irrigation systems.
-
Industrial installations and drainage – the wide range of power ratings (from 0.75 to 7.5 kW) and flow rates makes it possible to match the pump to the requirements of industrial and construction facilities.
-
Installers and well-drilling companies – lower power consumption with 400 V power supply results in a lower load on the electrical installation, which is particularly important with high motor power ratings.
Applications
IBO's 4" SD series is designed for drawing raw water from deep and drilled wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, wherever three-phase power is available. It is suitable for farms, industrial and construction facilities, irrigation systems, and drainage installations. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water treatment.
4" SD submersible pumps operate in a vertical position, submerged to a maximum depth of 100 m, with a power supply of 3~ 400 V / 50 Hz. The permitted temperature of the pumped liquid is up to 35°C.
Features of the IBO 4" SD series – description and technical data
IBO's 4" SD series submersible pumps are three-phase, multistage centrifugal devices with an external diameter of 98 mm, increased resistance to sand, and floating impellers. The housing, shaft, and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, the impellers and diffusers are made of PPO polymer, and the suction and discharge bodies are made of brass. The motor is oil-cooled and has insulation class F.
Three-phase power distributes the load evenly across three phases, resulting in more stable motor operation, lower losses over long power-cable runs, and a lower risk of voltage fluctuations during startup – particularly important for deep wells and high motor power ratings.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – 4" SD submersible pump
What is the IBO 4" SD series submersible pump used for?
IBO's 4" SD series is designed for drawing water from wells with a minimum diameter of 115 mm wherever three-phase power is available – in farms, industrial and construction facilities, irrigation systems, and drainage installations.
What is the difference between the 4" SD and 4" SDM series?
The 4" SD series is powered by three-phase electricity (3~ 400 V) and does not require a start box – it is intended for facilities equipped with a three-phase installation. The 4" SDM series is the single-phase version (1~ 230 V) – the SDM 2-12 model has a capacitor built directly into the motor, while the remaining models are supplied with an external start box. At the same time, the SD series offers a significantly wider range of models, including units with flow rates of up to 500 l/min that are not available in the SDM version.
How do I choose the right model from the 4" SD series?
The choice depends on the well depth, required flow rate, and pressure in the installation. The series offers models with flow rates from 80 to 500 l/min and heads of up to 169 m. If in doubt, we encourage you to contact Dambat's technical department.
Is the 4" SD pump covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
IBO – 24-month (2-year) manufacturer's warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
Where can I buy a 4" SD submersible pump?
As the manufacturer, we do not sell directly. IBO 4" SD series pumps are available from our commercial partners, plumbing and installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
