Application
The 4" SD series by IBO is intended for abstracting water from deep wells and drilled wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, wherever water is available. Power supply three-phase. It is used in farms, industrial and construction facilities, irrigation systems and drainage installations.
IBO 4" SD submersible pumps operate in a vertical position, immersed to a maximum depth of 100 m, with a power supply of 3~ 400 V / 50 Hz. The permissible temperature of the pumped liquid is up to 35°C.
Features of the IBO 4" SD series – description and technical data
IBO 4" SD series submersible pumps are three-phase, multi-stage centrifugal devices with an outer diameter of 98 mm with increased sand resistance and floating impellers. The casing, shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, impellers and diffusers are made of PPO polymer, and the suction and discharge bodies are made of brass. The engine is oil-cooled and has class B insulation.
Power supply three-phase distributes the load evenly over three phases, which translates into more stable motor operation, lower losses on long sections of the power cable and a lower risk of voltage fluctuations during start-up - especially important in deep wells and high motor power.

The SD series also offers a much wider range of models, including units with a capacity of up to 500 l/min not available in the SDM version.
