4" ISPM 5-20 - submersible pump
The 4" ISPM submersible pump by IBO is a multi-stage structure made entirely of stainless steel, powered by single-phase 230 V, intended for the intake and pumping of raw water in single- and multi-family houses, farms and smaller industrial installations. The starter box with a capacitor and overcurrent protection included in the set simplifies the electrical connection, and a short 1.5 m power cable allows you to adjust the length of the extension exactly to the depth of the well.

Application
The 4" ISPM series is intended for the collection and pumping of technically clean raw water from drilled deep wells for the needs of single- and multi-family houses, farms, irrigation systems and smaller industrial and drainage installations. The pump is not a water treatment device - when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, with a maximum temperature of pumped water of up to 35°C. The 4" ISPM 230 V submersible pump works with standard hydrophore tanks and pressure automation.
Features of the 4" ISPM series
The 4" ISPM series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel - from the suction and discharge casing to the impeller and diffuser, which ensures corrosion resistance in typical operating conditions. Power supply single-phase 230 V requires the use of a starter box with a capacitor and overcurrent protection, supplied in the set.
Additional motor protection is provided by thermal protection built into the winding.

Which well is the 4" ISPM submersible pump suitable for?
The pump is designed for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm. Before purchasing, it is worth checking the actual diameter of the well to avoid problems with installation or overheating of the motor.
Will a 1.5 m cable be enough for my well?
The factory cable is 1.5 m long, so in most cases it will need to be extended to the required depth of the well. It is worth entrusting the hermetic connection to a well engineer or service center to avoid damaging the insulation and flooding the engine.
What is the difference between 4" ISPM and 4" ISP?
The 4" ISPM is a version powered only by single-phase 230 V, supplied with a starter box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection. The same models in the 4" ISP series are also available in a three-phase 400 V version, without the need for a starter box, and the ISP series additionally includes higher power models available only in 400 V.
What happens if the well runs out of water while the pump is running?
The pump cannot run "dry" - lack of water may cause overheating and damage to the engine, and such a fault is not covered by the warranty. To exclude this, it is worth installing a dry-running protection that monitors the water level in the well.
Where can you buy a 4" ISPM submersible pump?
