Applications
The 4" FP4 series is designed for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire-protection systems, industry, and drainage. The construction tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water treatment.
The pumps operate in a vertical or horizontal position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump is compatible with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The 4" FP4 series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – providing corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve that limits water backflow from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizure during brief dry-running periods. The 230 V version is supplied with a starting box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.
