The IBO ITALY 4" FP4 E055 submersible pump is a multistage Italian design made entirely of stainless steel, intended for extracting and pumping raw water in single- and multi-family homes, agricultural facilities, and industrial and fire protection systems. DRY RUN PRO technology increases resistance to seizure during dry running, while the option of horizontal or vertical installation provides greater installation flexibility.

Application
The 4" FP4 series is intended for extracting and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep-water intakes for single- and multi-family homes, agricultural facilities, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industry, and drainage. The construction tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate vertically or horizontally, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump is compatible with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The pumps in the 4" FP4 series are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – providing corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR arrangement. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve limiting the return of water from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizure during brief periods of dry running. The 230 V version is supplied with a start box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.
