The IBO ITALY 4" FP4 E007 submersible pump is a multistage Italian design made entirely of stainless steel, intended for drawing and pumping raw water in single- and multi-family homes, farms, and industrial and fire protection systems. DRY RUN PRO technology increases resistance to seizure in the event of dry running, while the option of horizontal or vertical installation increases installation flexibility.

Applications

The design tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water treatment.
The pumps operate in a vertical or horizontal position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump is compatible with standard pressure tanks and pressure control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The 4" FP4 series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – ensuring corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve limiting the return of water from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizure in the event of brief dry running. The 230 V version is supplied with a starting box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.
