Applications
The 4" FP4 series is designed for drawing and pumping technically clean raw water from drilled deep wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industry, and drainage. The construction tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps operate in vertical or horizontal positions, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The 4" FP4 series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – providing corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal operates in a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve limiting the return of water from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizure during brief periods of dry running. The 230 V version is supplied with a starting box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.
