The IBO ITALY 4" FP4 D005 submersible pump is a multistage Italian design made entirely of stainless steel, intended for drawing and pumping untreated water in single- and multi-family homes, farms, and industrial and fire protection systems. DRY RUN PRO technology increases resistance to seizure in the event of dry running, while the option of horizontal or vertical installation provides greater installation flexibility.

Applications
The 4" FP4 series is intended for drawing and pumping technically clean, untreated water from drilled deep-water wells for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, fire protection systems, industrial applications, and drainage. The construction tolerates sand content of up to 185 g/m³. The pump is not a water treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
The pumps can operate in a vertical or horizontal position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 115 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 4" FP4 230 V / 400 V submersible pump works with standard pressure tanks and pressure control systems.
Features of the 4" FP4 series
The 4" FP4 series pumps are made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel – the suction and discharge body, housing, shaft, and rotor – providing corrosion resistance under typical operating conditions. The impeller and diffuser are made of polymer (PPO), while the mechanical seal uses a SiC/SiC/NBR configuration. Built-in floating impellers and a check valve limiting water return from the system complete the design.
DRY RUN PRO technology increases the motor’s resistance to seizure in the event of temporary dry running. The 230 V version is supplied with a start box containing a capacitor and overcurrent protection, as well as thermal protection built into the motor winding.
