Application
The 3" SDM series by IBO is intended for drawing water from deep and drilled wells with a minimum internal diameter of 85 mm, for the needs of single-family houses, multi-family houses and agricultural farms. The pump works equally well in powering irrigation systems - sprinklers and drip lines - and in drainage installations.
IBO 3" SDM submersible pumps operate in a vertical position, submerged to a maximum depth of 80 m, with a power supply of 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz. The permissible temperature of the pumped liquid is up to 35°C. The pumps are not water treatment devices - when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate preparation.
Features of the 3" SDM series by IBO – description and technical data
IBO series 3" SDM submersible pumps are multi-stage centrifugal devices with an outer diameter of 75 mm with increased sand resistance and floating impellers. The engine is oil-cooled, the housing, shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, impellers and diffusers are made of PPO polymer, and the suction and discharge bodies are made of brass.
The series includes three models differing in power and lifting height - from 3" SDM 24 (0.75 kW, up to 80 m) through 3" SDM 33 (1.1 kW, up to 117 m) to 3" SDM 40 (1.5 kW, up to 140 m), with a constant capacity of 70 l/min. Each model is equipped with a capacitor built directly into the motor, eliminating the need for an external jumper box. It is available with a 1.5 m or 20 m cable with a plug.

Does the 3" SDM pump require an external starter box?
No. The starting capacitor is built directly into the pump motor, which eliminates the need to install an external starting box and simplifies the electrical installation.
