2" STING is designed for extracting and pumping raw water in single-family homes and holiday allotments supplied from private deep-water intakes. Its exceptionally small diameter of 52 mm allows installation in boreholes where standard submersible pumps cannot be installed – this applies both to new narrow boreholes and older wells with a limited internal diameter.
The 2" STING submersible pump operates continuously as part of a domestic water supply system, working with a pressure tank and pressure-control equipment. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the device from overheating in the event of dry running or an excessively low water level in the well. The pump is not a water-treatment device – when using it for other purposes, we recommend ensuring appropriate water preparation.
