2.5" STM 24 - submersible pump
The 2.5" STM submersible pump by IBO is a multi-stage structure with increased sand resistance, intended for supplying water to single- and multi-family houses, farms and irrigation systems. The small diameter allows for installation in narrow holes, and the factory-installed 20 m cable with a plug allows you to omit additional cable extensions at typical installation depths.

Application
The 2.5" STM series is intended for collecting clean water from narrow, drilled deep water intakes for single- and multi-family houses, farms, and irrigation and drainage systems.
The pumps operate in a vertical position, in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 75 mm, with a maximum temperature of pumped water of up to 35°C. The 2.5" STM 230 V submersible pump works with standard hydrophore tanks and pressure automation.
Features of the 2.5" STM series
The 2.5" STM series pumps have a suction and discharge body made of brass, the housing, shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and the impeller and diffuser are made of PPO polymer. Increased sand resistance and floating rotors ensure reliable operation even in more difficult intake conditions.
A capacitor built into the motor eliminates the need for an external starter box, and thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor against overload.

Which well is the 2.5" STM submersible pump suitable for?
The pump is designed for wells with a minimum internal diameter of 75 mm, which allows it to be installed in very narrow wells inaccessible to most deep-well pumps. Before purchasing, it is worth measuring the actual diameter of the well.
Will a 20 m cable be enough for my well?
The factory cable is 20 m long and has a plug, which allows you to omit its extension in most home wells. For deeper drilling, further extension should be entrusted to a specialist.
What is the difference between 2.5" STM and 3" STM?
The 2.5" STM has a brass suction and discharge body and a PPO polymer impeller and diffuser, while the 3" STM is made entirely of stainless steel. The choice depends on the available well diameter and the preferred construction material.
How to choose a 2.5" STM pump model for my needs?
The choice of model depends on the depth of the well and water demand - both models have the same capacity of 45 l/min, differ in lifting height (STM 24 to 66 m, STM 31 to 85 m). If in doubt, we encourage you to contact the technical department.
