The IBO 2.5" STM submersible pump is a multistage design with enhanced sand resistance, intended to supply water to single- and multi-family homes, farms, and irrigation systems. Its small diameter allows installation in narrow boreholes, while the factory-fitted 20 m cable eliminates the need for additional cable extensions at typical installation depths.

Applications
The 2.5" STM series is designed for drawing clean raw water from narrow, drilled deep-water intakes for single- and multi-family homes, farms, irrigation systems, and drainage systems.
The pumps operate vertically in wells with a minimum internal diameter of 75 mm, at a maximum pumped-water temperature of 35°C. The 2.5" STM 230 V submersible pump is compatible with standard pressure tanks and pressure-control systems.

The 2.5" STM series pumps feature a suction and discharge body made of brass, a housing, shaft, and rotor made of AISI 304 stainless steel, and an impeller and diffuser made of PPO polymer. Enhanced sand resistance and floating impellers ensure reliable operation even in more demanding intake conditions.
The capacitor built into the motor eliminates the need for an external starting box, while the thermal protection built into the winding protects the motor from overload.
