Vertical diaphragm tanks for storing water in water supply systems. IBO diaphragm tanks are designed to stabilize water pressure and increase the effective volume of the water supply installation. They are used with pumps whose parameters correspond to those of the tank.
The tanks are made of thick carbon steel and coated with a special anti-corrosion paint. Inside the tanks are EPDM rubber diaphragms, forming a membrane between the water inside and the tank’s outer shell. Compressed air is located between the diaphragm and the tank housing; under pressure, it forces water out of the tank.
Using the tanks in pressure-boosting systems makes it possible to reduce the number of pump starts within a given period, which has a beneficial effect on the service life of the entire installation. The volume of water inside is the difference between the volume of the housing and the volume of air surrounding the diaphragm.
Application
Combined with surface or submersible pumps, they form pressure-boosting systems designed to supply water from private wells to plots, single-family and multi-family homes, farms, and businesses.
