An orchard, a berry plantation, a vegetable field or a nursery - everywhere the demand is counted in hundreds of cubic meters a day, and the choice of the appropriate pump determines whether this demand can be covered within a short irrigation window.

Submersible pumps - from the intake to the irrigation system
Submersible pumps are the heart of most installations on farms with their own well. When selecting a submersible pump, it is worth paying attention to the internal diameter of the well, the depth of the water table, the required flow and lifting height.

3.5 SDM IBO - submersible pump for narrower wells and smaller farms, complete with 20 m cable.
4 SPINOX IBO ITALY — multistage submersible pump made entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, for wells with a diameter of 115 mm and above.

Tractor and diesel pumps - when the source is a pond or reservoir
Where water comes from a surface intake - a pond, a canal, a retention tank - pumps driven by the tractor's PTO shaft will prove useful.
PRO tractor pump - single-stage, self-priming, capacity up to 1000 l/min, lifting height up to 30 m. Can pump contaminated water, including slurry.
PRN tractor pump - single-stage centrifugal pump for clean water, capacity up to 750 l/min, lifting height up to 70 m. Pump for demanding irrigation systems, including spool sprinklers.
BZP combustion pump - 4-stroke engine 6.5 HP, capacity up to 1000 l/min, independence from the electrical network. It is useful in remote parts of the farm and in emergency situations.
Reel sprinkler for irrigation of agricultural fields
The IR-IBO 75/400 sprinkler is a machine for irrigating medium and larger areas - 75 mm PE pipe, 400 m long, winding system driven by a water turbine with a gear, smooth regulation of winding speed, full-speed sprinkler on the end trolley. The design is intended for work in the field, orchards and meadows.
Controls and equipment for machinery
IVR inverters maintain constant pressure in the irrigation system by regulating the speed of the pump motor:
IVR-11 with pressure sensor - for smaller three-phase pumps powered from a single-phase socket.
IVR-400 - For higher power 400V pumps, including FX6 and AP6 six pumps.
To service the machinery on your farm, you will also find an AOP pump for pumping diesel and light oils.

Which submersible pump should you choose for irrigation of agricultural fields?
The choice of a submersible pump for irrigation depends on three parameters: the internal diameter of the well, the depth of the water table and the required flow in the field. For smaller farms (up to approx. 6 m³/h), 3.5- and 4-inch pumps will work, e.g. 3.5 SDM 3-11 or 4 SPINOX. For larger areas, commercial plantations and orchards, 6-inch submersible pumps are standard IBO ITALY from the AP6 and FX6 series, which deliver up to 60–100 m³/h at a lifting height exceeding several dozen meters.
What is the difference between a PRO tractor pump and a PRN one?
PRO is a self-priming pump with a capacity of up to 1,000 l/min and a lifting height of up to 30 m, which can pump contaminated water, including slurry. PRN is a normally suction pump, designed for clean water, with a capacity of up to 750 l/min and a lifting height of up to 70 m - it will work well in demanding irrigation systems, including powering reel sprinklers. Both pumps are driven from the tractor's power take-off shaft (PTO 540 rpm) and require a tractor with a power of 15 to 125 HP.
When will a combustion pump be useful instead of an electric one on the farm?
The BZP-30 combustion pump is independent of the electricity network, so it can be used where there is no electricity connection - in remote parts of the farm, near ponds and rivers, during power failures or in crisis situations (flooding, firefighting). The 6.5 HP four-stroke engine provides a capacity of up to 1,000 l/min and a lifting height of up to 30 m. 3"/3" connectors allow you to handle fire hoses and quickly transfer large amounts of water in the field.
Do you need an inverter for irrigation?
The IVR inverter maintains constant pressure in the irrigation system by regulating the speed of the pump motor. This is especially important when there are many sections with different consumption in the system - the inverter adjusts the pump operation to the current demand, ensures uniform watering of all sections and limits hydraulic shocks when turning on the pump. IVR inverters have built-in protection against dry running, short circuit, overload and against too low and too high voltage.
Which pump should I choose for the IR-IBO 75/400 reel sprinkler?
The pump feeding the sprinkler must provide pressure and flow consistent with the specifications of the selected sprinkler nozzle. In practice, spool sprinklers are equipped with 6-inch deep well pumps (e.g. 6 AP6 F10 or 6 FX6 55-8) for intake from a well, or a PRN tractor pump or a BZP-30 combustion pump for surface intake. Selection for specific intake and field parameters is supported by the Dambat technical department.
