Features, description and technical data
The IBO KBFU 50-0.45 M pump belongs to the KBFU series by Dambat and is fully adapted to pumping water containing sand, sludge and abrasive particles. The key distinguishing feature of the model from other pumps in the series is the built-in float switch, which automates the operation of the device and protects against dry running.
The design uses a cooling jacket, thanks to which the pump does not have to be fully immersed in the pumped medium - this enables effective drainage to a level of 60 mm. The motor housing is made of stainless steel, the pump body and impeller are made of gray cast iron covered with a heavy abrasive layer (chrome alloy), and the shaft and rotor are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The bearings come from the Japanese NSK factory.
Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the device against overheating. The threaded discharge connector with a diameter of 2" allows easy connection of the discharge hose using a clamp or quick connector. The 10 m long power cable is terminated with a plug.
