Silnik głębinowy - gwarant niezawodnego działania pompy

A submersible motor is an electrical device for driving a submersible pump. It is filled with non-toxic oil or frost-resistant liquid. It is perfect for hydrophore sets with a submersible pump for pumping utility or drinking water. Submersible engines are as tight as possible and can operate under very high pressure. They are made of stainless steel, which ensures exceptional durability and reliability. Most of them are made to the NEMA standard.

Technical parameters and construction of submersible engines

Good submersible engine is a guarantee of safe and long-term operation of the pump. Submersible motors provide variable torque in submersible pumps. The casing of submersible motors is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The upper part of the body is usually a cast iron element, protected with an anti-corrosion cover. The shaft of the submersible motor is designed for intensive use and resistant to mechanical overload and damage. Ball bearings and a mechanical gland made of graphite and ceramics are also very important parts of the submersible engine. In the case of submersible engines, there is no risk of oil leaking outside the external insulation - the entire structure is extremely tight. The submersible engine is designed for continuous operation.

The most important technical parameter of submersible engines is the maximum immersion depth, which should not be less than 100 meters. It is also worth paying attention to the permissible voltage fluctuations and water temperature, as well as the degree of protection and insulation class of the winding. The highly efficient submersible engine will be able to run a minimum of 20 times per hour. The engine bearing system is lubricated by the liquid filling the engine, which removes energy losses from it. The design of connections and couplings in a submersible motor is standardized and accepted by all manufacturers of submersible pumps. The submersible motor can be single-phase or three-phase.

Safe and functional submersible engines

Submersible motors are designed to operate in a vertical and horizontal position. They are equipped with waterproof electrical connectors, and their seals, cables and windings are characterized by the highest level of European quality. They meet strict standards and must have the CE conformity mark. Their efficiency should exceed 70%. In the context of operational properties, the rated power of the submersible engine and the rotational speed are very important. Submersible motors should not be operated at frequencies exceeding their ratings, which are typically 50 and 60 Hz. Submersible motors are powered by 230V or 400V. The submersible motor should be selected one power higher than the value given in the pump selection card. The submersible motor is protected against short circuits, overloads, phase loss, power supply asymmetry, voltage drop or excessive number of switches.

Nowadays, the standard is the production of four-inch submersible engines, which are manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. 6", 8", 10" or 12" engines with power ranging from 0.25kW to 400kW are also available on the market. Submersible motors operate maintenance-free and are equipped with a self-healing stator resin that protects the motor against damage. Systems cooperating with submersible engines are used not only to supply drinking and utility water in households, waterworks and agriculture, but also for drainage and pressure raising.
