The 4-pole VT series is used for pumping particularly heavy sewage liquids. High efficiency and large passages make this series suitable for use in industry, zootechnics, sludge transport, tanneries and wherever there is a need to pump liquids containing large solids.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG25 cast iron. Two separate mechanical seals (motor side in the oil chamber, impeller side in contact with the liquid) and high-quality parts ensure excellent performance and reliability of the product.
What are the advantages of the V4 sewage pump?
The four-pole V4 sewage pump is a professional product for use in network and industrial sewage systems, as well as in special pumping stations. Thanks to the large space under the Vortex impeller, it can easily pump raw sewage containing solid and fibrous fractions, also small stones, gravel or garbage are not a problem. The multi-blade Vortex rotor is resistant to clogging with tissues, strings or kitchen waste. By creating a water vortex under and around the impeller, a significant part of the solids does not have direct contact with the impeller, which makes the impeller wear slower than in channel impellers. The advantage of radially expanding channels is that the solid fractions falling through the inlet do not get blocked in the impeller channels, but are thrown out and travel along the wall of the pump body to the throat.
Controls
The V4 sewage pump is only a three-phase model with a power of up to 7.5 kW, therefore the pumps are controlled only by an external signal. To control the operation of V4 pumps, we recommend and offer professional power supply and control switchboards in relay-contactor or microprocessor versions. Also with failure notification via SMS or online viewing.
Installation
The most commonly used method of installing V4 pumps is on a coupling foot DUTY or type B in raw sewage pumping stations. Horizontal coupling feet are used less often type A or mobile installations on a stand P type. To lower the pump along the guides to the pumping station tank, slings are used in the form of a stainless chain or stainless steel cable of appropriate strength, which are attached to the holes in the handle at the top of the pump, allowing for the correct balance of the pump during lowering. When installing the coupling foot, remember to keep the bottom of the tank flat under the pump, otherwise it may cause cavitation and faster wear of hydraulic components.
Features
• Vortex impeller with free passage,
• Humidity sensor in the oil chamber, which protects the engine against flooding with water in the event of damage to the mechanical seal behind the rotor,
• Side flange outlet allows installation on a coupling foot and easy installation of an elbow connection to a flexible hose using a clamp or quick connector,
• T1-T2 thermal protection built into the motor winding, for connection to the appropriate control panel,
• 10m H07RNF power cable with free terminals,
• Warranty and post-warranty service,
• 24-month warranty.
On request, it is possible to produce special versions with a liquid temperature of up to 60°C with the pump fully submerged (not in continuous operation).
