Application
The IBO QB series is designed for pumping clean, cold water from your own surface intakes and shallow wells and for increasing pressure in home, recreational and garden installations. The suction capacity of up to 8 m allows water to be drawn from typical shallow water intakes.
The device works with hydrophore tanks and pressure and flow machines. QB series pumps operate in a horizontal position with a power supply of 1~ 230 V / 50 Hz.
Features of the IBO QB series – description and technical data
IBO QB series pumps are single-stage peripheral devices with a compact design and a built-in non-return valve. The body is made of cast iron, the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel and the impeller is made of brass. Thermal protection built into the motor winding protects the device against overheating.
The series includes two models: QB 60 (0.25 kW, up to 35 l/min, lifting up to 35 m) i QB 80 (0.75 kW, up to 46 l/min, lifting up to 65 m). Their unique design makes them a particularly convenient solution in installations with limited space.

What is the IBO QB series pump used for?

What is the difference between the QB series and the WZI series?
Both series are peripheral pumps from the IBO brand with similar purposes and parameters. The key difference is the non-return valve - WZI pumps have it built-in, which protects the installation against water returning without additional equipment. QB pumps do not have a check valve, so when building a hydrophore system, it is recommended to install it separately in the installation.
How to choose the right model from the QB series?
QB 60 is suitable for lower demand (up to 35 l/min, lifting up to 35 m), QB 80 for higher demand (up to 46 l/min, lifting up to 65 m). If in doubt, we encourage you to contact with the Dambat technical department.
