IBO KBFU AUTO 50-1.5 T pump Sludge with 400 V agitator
KBFU AUTO 50-1.5 T is a three-phase automatic pump Sludge with a power of 1.5 kW, powered by 400 V, equipped with a chrome alloy agitator and a built-in control system with a level sensor. The KBFU AUTO series is designed for maintenance-free operation in collecting wells and pumping stations - the pump starts and stops automatically according to the liquid level, without the need for manual operation.
For whom
-
Investors and managers of buildings with collecting wells – built-in level sensor and controller eliminate the need for manual supervision, the pump operates fully automatically around the clock.
-
Construction companies with long-term drainage works – automatic activation according to the water level eliminates the need to delegate an employee to operate the pump on the construction site.
-
Mines and mining plants – chrome alloy agitator and allowable particles up to 10 mm ensure reliable operation in thicker sludge than standard KBFU models.
-
Drainage system installers – built-in automation simplifies the installation design, the DN 2" connector in a vertical or horizontal arrangement gives flexibility in installation.
-
Municipal companies with pumping stations – automatic operation and no need for constant supervision reduce operating costs with a constant inflow of groundwater.
Application
The KBFU AUTO series is an extension of the standard KBFU series with an agitator, a control and control system with a level sensor and a double mechanical gland. Thanks to these elements, the pump is suitable for operation in collecting wells and pumping stations, where automatic response to changing liquid levels is required without operator intervention. A chrome alloy agitator actively breaks up sediment at the inlet, enabling pumping of slurries with particles up to 10 mm - twice the size of standard models in the series.
A key element of the design is the cooling jacket surrounding the engine. Thanks to it, the pump does not have to be completely immersed in the pumped medium to maintain a safe operating temperature - the engine is cooled by the jacket wall even when the liquid level in the tank is very low. The control and control system and thermal protection in the motor winding provide additional protection during long-term unattended operation.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – pump Sludge KBFU AUTO 50-1.5 T
How is KBFU AUTO different from the regular KBFU series?
The AUTO series has three elements that are not present in the standard KBFU series: a liquid level sensor that controls automatic start and stop of the pump, a chrome alloy agitator that mixes the sludge at the inlet, and a control and control system. Additionally, a double mechanical choke is used. In practice: you throw the pump into the well and connect it Power supply and she manages her own work.
Why is a level sensor better than Float?
A classic float switch is a mechanical element with moving parts, susceptible to cable wrapping, clogging by sediment, mechanical damage or the influence of the pH level of the medium. The level sensor used in the KBFU AUTO series has a closed, tight structure without moving external elements - it is more resistant to difficult operating conditions in sludge, acidic environments and does not require additional space in the well.
How to protect the pump against large particles and stones?
The pump itself has perforations at the inlet that provide the first barrier to larger particles. When working in environments with stones or thick rubble, it is worth additionally using a basket for the submersible pump - a metal cover in the shape of a basket with small perforations, which is placed directly on the pump and effectively filters what goes into the inlet. Alternatively, a protective mesh with mesh size smaller than 10 mm attached around the pump works well. Both solutions are cheap, easy to install and significantly extend the life of the device when working in polluted areas.
