KBFU AUTO 100-3.7 T is a three-phase automatic pump Sludge with a power of 3.7 kW, powered by 400 V with a DN 4" connection and a capacity of 1550 l/min. This is the largest model in the KBFU AUTO series - with the same power as AUTO 80-3.7 T, it offers almost 50% higher flow thanks to a larger connection, while maintaining full automation of work with a level sensor and agitator.

Application
IBO KBFU AUTO 100-3.7 T is designed for automatic pumping of sludge and contaminated water with high volumetric efficiency. The level sensor built into the control system automatically starts and stops the pump according to the fill level of the well - without operator intervention. A chrome alloy agitator breaks up mineral suspensions at the inlet, allowing pumping of media with particles up to 10 mm that would clog standard KBFU series models.
A key element of the design is the cooling jacket surrounding the engine. Thanks to it, the pump does not have to be completely immersed in the pumped medium to maintain a safe operating temperature. The SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC double mechanical gland ensures increased tightness and durability during long-term automatic operation - especially important in permanent installations, where the pump operates continuously throughout the season.

With an identical power of 3.7 kW, the 100-3.7 T model offers a capacity of 1,550 l/min compared to 1,050 l/min of the 80 model - almost 50% more flow. The compromise is a lower lift (18 vs. 30 m) and the inability to install the connector horizontally - DN 4" only vertically. If flow is important in the installation, the choice is 100-3.7 T, if pressure - 80-3.7 T.
Will KBFU AUTO 100-3.7 T replace two smaller AUTO pumps?
In many cases, yes - capacity 1550 l/min with automation and DN 4" can replace two KBFU AUTO 50 pumps working in parallel. This simplifies installation, reduces service costs and eliminates the need to synchronize the operation of two devices. One pump also means one point of failure instead of two.
What most often destroys automatic pumps operating without supervision?
The main threat is particles with a larger diameter than permitted - in long-term installations, it is worth installing a grate or inlet cover limiting access to the impeller. The second common problem is the gradual wear of the stuffing box when pumping suspensions very intensively - it is worth checking the tightness during seasonal inspections.
