KBFU 80-3.7 T is a three-phase pump Sludge with a power of 3.7 kW, powered by 400 V with a DN 3" connection and a lifting height of up to 29 m. The model is distinguished by a SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC mechanical gland - full ceramics on both sides of the seal ensure higher resistance to abrasive elements than solutions with a carbon seal used in smaller models of the series.

Application
The KBFU series is designed for draining water from construction sites, mines and quarries - wherever the pumped medium contains sand, sludge or abrasive elements that destroy standard centrifugal pumps. The durable, cast-iron construction of the hydraulic unit and the rotor covered with a heavy-abrasive layer withstand difficult operating conditions, reducing the risk of unplanned downtime and service costs. The vertical direction of the DN 3" outlet facilitates installation and connection of delivery hoses directly above the pump.
A key element of the design is the cooling jacket surrounding the engine. Thanks to it, the pump does not have to be fully immersed in the pumped medium to maintain a safe operating temperature - the engine is cooled by the jacket wall even when the water level in the trench is very low. Thermal protection built into the motor winding provides an additional layer of protection against overheating during long-term continuous operation.

What is the difference between the SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC stuffing box and the SiC-SiC / Carbon-SiC stuffing box used in smaller models?
In the SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC stuffing box, both sealing surfaces are made of silicon carbide - a material with very high hardness and abrasion resistance. In a gland with a carbon seal (Carbon-SiC), one side is less hard, which may shorten its service life in the event of intensive contact with abrasive elements. The 80-3.7 T model with an all-ceramic gland is the right choice wherever the medium contains more hard aggregate.
How to connect the discharge hose to the KBFU 80-3.7 T pump?
The DN 3" discharge connector is threaded - the discharge hose is connected using a clamp or a DN 3" quick connector. Using smaller diameter hoses using reductions is possible, but limits the efficiency of the installation.
What is the difference between KBFU 80-3.7T and KBFU 80-2.2T?
The 80-3.7 T model has higher power (3.7 vs 2.2 kW), higher lift (29 vs 19 m) and a SiC-SiC / SiC-SiC choke instead of SiC-SiC / Carbon-SiC. The efficiency is slightly lower - 920 vs 1000 l/min. This is the choice for deeper excavations and more abrasive media.
