The KBFU series is used for draining water from construction sites, mines and quarries. The pump functions efficiently in environments where the pumped medium contains sand, sludge or fine aggregate. The durable, cast-iron construction of the hydraulic unit withstands difficult operating conditions, thus limiting the risk of unplanned downtime. The vertical outlet direction favors the installation of equipment in narrow wells and trenches with limited operating space.
We have implemented a cooling jacket in the device's structure. Thanks to it, the pump does not have to be completely immersed in the pumped medium to maintain a safe engine temperature. This property allows operation to the so-called slurping level in shallow trenches, pools and flooded technological rooms. This design increases the pump's versatility, giving operators confidence in operation even at very low levels of pumped liquid. Thermal protection built into the motor winding additionally protects the equipment against overheating during continuous operation.
