Inside the tanks there are EPDM rubber diaphragms (produced in an Italian factory), creating a membrane between the water inside and the outer shell of the tank. There is compressed air between the membrane and the tank housing, which releases water from the tank under pressure. By using tanks in hydrophore sets, you can limit the number of pump starts in a given period of time, which has a beneficial effect on the life of the entire installation. The volume of the tanks refers to the size of the housing, the volume of water inside is the difference between the volume of the housing and the volume of air around the membrane.
The tanks have a special valve used to pump or release air from the tank - a valve identical to that in car wheels, located at the rear of the tank, under the cover.
