The DNA series is used for pumping biological liquids and wastewater. The large free passage of solids makes it perfect for use in sewage treatment plants, public and private sewage systems and in the animal husbandry industry.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. A double mechanical seal in a back-to-back configuration, placed in the oil chamber, guarantees long product durability.
Advantages of DNA pumps
The DNA sewage pump is an ideal solution for people looking for a professional product for use at home or in a small business. The free passage of the DNA sewage pump is the best alternative to pumps with a grinding device, which often gets clogged, exposing the user to operational difficulties. Big free passage dirt from 45 to 80 mm (depending on the model) under the rotor ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. The open six-blade Vortex impellers cope perfectly even with fibrous wastewater contents, while the shredders act as winders. The grinder blades, which quickly become dull in the sewage, act like wedges and block the pump. Sewage pumps with such a large free passage under the impeller do not have such disadvantages. The thick walls of the rotor are sufficient for many years of operation in raw residential sewage. Connection flanges allow for installation with any coupling feet with holes according to DN.
When selecting a pump, you should check the parameters of the available pipeline because sometimes the diameter of the discharge pipe or the geometry of the terrain requires the use of higher power.
Controls
The DNA sewage pump has four versions, which are a combination of single-phase and three-phase power supply and built-in control float switch and external signal. To control the operation of DNA pumps (except versions with built-in float switch) we recommend simple drivers M121 (230V) as well M131 (400V). For more demanding users and two-pump pumping stations, we offer professional power and control switchgears in relay-contactor design SPP i SPS.
Installation methods
Thanks to the DN flange, DNA pumps are often installed on coupling feet in domestic, municipal, network and rainwater sewage pumping stations. By using an appropriate hose connection (elbow with a bare end), we obtain a portable pump for drainage and working with liquids with a high solids content (gravel, sand, garbage). With a DNA sewage pump, we can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, or pump water from a pond or ditch to another tank. DNA pumps have stable legs protruding from the pump body, on which they can stand on a level surface ensuring adequate clearance under the body for water supply.
Like any sewage pump DRENO, DNA also has a 10-meter power cord as standard. They work perfectly with coupling feet DRENO: DUTY50, DUTY 65, DUTY 80 i B5.
