Quick reply
FIXLine membrane vessels are universal tanks designed to stabilize pressure and store water in hydrophore, heating and domestic hot water installations. Thanks to the steel structure and butyl membrane, they ensure high durability, operational safety and resistance to temperatures up to 90°C.
For whom
-
For plumbing installers – safe, durable cookware with a wide range of applications.
-
For home users – pressure stabilization in cold and hot water installations.
-
For owners of hydrophores – effective water collection and protection of the system against water hammer.
-
For owners of central heating systems and C.W.U. – equalizing pressure and improving installation safety.
-
For users of installations with inverters – smooth regulation of operation and minimization of pressure pulsations.
Application
- Stabilization and storage of water in hydrophore installations (vertical and horizontal).
- Pressure equalization in water installations controlled by inverters.
- Work in central heating installations (C.O.).
- Work in domestic hot water (CW) installations.
- Use in solar systems and installations with glycol up to 50%.
FIXLine membrane vessels ensure pressure stabilization in installations operating in a wide range of temperatures and loads.
Features, description and technical data
FIXLine membrane vessels are steel tanks equipped with a durable, non-replaceable membrane made of BUTYL, which separates the liquid from the air space. The membrane is characterized by high tensile strength and resistance to high temperatures. The design of the tank allows operation in both cold and hot water installations, as well as in heating systems.
Each model has a valve - a valve that allows you to control and replenish the initial air pressure in the vessel. According to the FIXLine catalog card, the vessels are adapted to work in installations where the glycol solution does not exceed 50% :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}.

FAQ
How do FIXLine membrane vessels work?
FIXLine vessels use a BUTYL membrane to separate water from the air cushion, which stabilizes the pressure in the installation. This makes the system run more smoothly and is protected against pressure spikes. This solution also increases the durability of the installation elements.
What installations are FIXLine vessels intended for?
The FIXLine series can work in utility water installations, central heating, domestic hot water, hydrophores and solar systems. They can be used both in homes and in commercial installations. They are useful wherever pressure equalization or stabilization is required.
Can FIXLine cookware work with glycol?
Yes, but provided that the glycol solution does not exceed 50%, which is confirmed by the manufacturer's data sheet. This is important in solar installations or systems requiring frost protection. Exceeding this limit may affect the durability of the membrane.
What FIXLine sizes and capacities are available?
The series includes vertical models from 5 V to 100 V and horizontal models from 24 H to 100 H. They differ in dimensions, capacity and mounting configuration. Thanks to this, you can choose the vessel optimally for each installation.
Is the membrane in FIXLine cookware replaceable?
No, the membrane in FIXLine cookware is not replaceable due to its steel construction. However, it is made of very durable BUTYL with high thermal resistance and durability. This ensures tightness and long-term operation in demanding systems.
What are the benefits of using a membrane vessel?
The vessel stabilizes the pressure, which protects the installation against water hammer. This extends the life of pumps, valves and other system components. Additionally, it ensures smoother and quieter operation of the installation.
