When selecting pumps, it is inevitable to talk about pipelines (usually pressure ones). To understand each other well, we must use the same names. For some, it is a 50 mm pipe up to PE50 (50 mm on the outside), for others it is DN50 (e.g. stainless steel Ø60.3x2) and for still others it is ~50 mm inside (e.g. PE63x5.8) because this is how we calculate losses on the pipelines.
