Description
Inverter for the IVR 05 pump
IBO IVR 05 is an intelligent controller for water pumps that maintains a constant, set pressure in the installation, smoothly adjusting the pump speed to the current water consumption. It is powered by a single-phase 1~230 V and can control both a single-phase pump and - after changing the setting - a three-phase pump powered by 3~230 V. At the same time, it protects the pump against dry running, overload, short circuit and voltage fluctuations.
For whom
- Owners of single-phase and three-phase 230 V pumps - operate both types of motors from the 230 V network and maintain constant pressure without replacing the pump.
- Installers and service companies - constant pressure and a full pump protection package in one device, ready for professional installation.
- Industrial facilities and water treatment plants – stable pressure with variable consumption and lower energy and water consumption.
- Agricultural and livestock farms – reliable water supply and longer pump life thanks to gentle starts.
Application
The IVR 05 inverter is used to maintain constant pressure and to control and protect the pump. It is connected directly to a deep-well, surface or submersible pump and automatically turns it on and off and adjusts the speed to the current installation demand. A soft start and stop function eliminates water hammer, and lower average pump speeds reduce energy consumption.
It most often works in water supply installations, industry, water treatment plants and agriculture, as well as in systems with several pumps (up to 5) supplying one system. The IVR 05 inverter is powered by 230 V.
Features of IVR 05
IVR 05 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM technology and V/F regulation (variable speed, variable frequency) with the PID algorithm. Based on continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to the actual demand, which reduces energy and water consumption and, thanks to lower average speed, extends the pump's life. Dry-running protection works without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
The device is matched to the pump according to its power and current, and the constant pressure is set with a simple setting range, in automatic or manual mode. From the factory, it works with a three-wire pressure sensor 0.5-4.5 V, which can be replaced with a 4-20 mA sensor if necessary.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – what is the IVR 05 inverter used for?
What is the IVR 05 inverter used for?
The IVR 05 inverter is a controller that maintains constant water pressure in the installation by smoothly regulating the speed of the connected pump. Powered by single-phase (1×230 V), it can control a single-phase pump or – after changing the setting – a three-phase 3×230 V pump, and at the same time protects it against dry running, overload, short circuit and voltage fluctuations.
How does the IVR 05 inverter differ from a classic hydrophore?
A classic hydrophore set turns on the pump in steps and rests on a large tank, which causes the pressure to fluctuate. The IVR 05 inverter selects the pump speed on an ongoing basis using SPWM technology with PID control, maintaining constant pressure and reducing energy consumption.
What pumps does IVR 05 work with?
IVR 05 is designed for deep-well, surface and submersible pumps with power from 0.75 to 2.2 kW and current up to 10.5 A. Powered by a single-phase 1×230 V, it supports single-phase pumps and, after changing the setting, also three-phase 3×230 V motors. In multi-pump sets, it can control the operation of up to 5 pumps, which automatically switch between each other.
Does IVR 05 require installation by an installer?
Yes. IVR 05 is not a household appliance and should be installed by a suitably qualified person. The installation requires effective grounding and a residual current device (RCD ≤ 30 mA), and in residential environments it is recommended to use an additional EMI anti-interference filter.
Is the IVR 05 inverter covered by the manufacturer's warranty?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) manufacturer's warranty. Warranty and post-warranty service is provided by Dambat.
Where can you buy the IBO IVR 05 inverter?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly. The IBO IVR 05 inverter is available from our trading partners, installation wholesalers and authorized online distributors.
