IVR 05 pump inverter
IBO IVR 05 is an intelligent controller for water pumps that maintains a constant, preset pressure in the system while smoothly adjusting the pump’s rotational speed to current water consumption. It is powered by single-phase 1~230 V and can control both a single-phase pump and, after changing the setting, a three-phase pump powered by 3~230 V. At the same time, it protects the pump against dry running, overload, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations.
Who is it for
- Owners of single-phase and three-phase 230 V pumps – support for both motor types from a 230 V supply and constant pressure without replacing the pump.
- Installers and service companies – constant pressure and a complete set of pump protection features in one device, ready for professional installation.
- Industrial facilities and water treatment plants – stable pressure with variable consumption, along with lower energy and water consumption.
- Farms and livestock operations – reliable water supply and longer pump life thanks to soft starts.
Applications
The IVR 05 inverter is used to maintain constant pressure and control and protect the pump. It connects directly to a submersible, surface, or immersion pump and automatically takes over switching the pump on and off and adjusting its speed to the installation’s current demand. The soft-start and soft-stop function eliminates water hammer, while lower average pump speeds reduce energy consumption.
It is most commonly used in water supply systems, industry, water treatment plants, and agriculture, as well as in systems with several pumps (up to 5) supplying a single system. The IVR 05 inverter is powered by 230 V.
IVR 05 features
IVR 05 maintains constant pressure by controlling the pump using SPWM technology and V/F control (variable speed, variable frequency) with a PID algorithm. Through continuous pressure analysis, the inverter adjusts the pump speed to the actual demand, reducing energy and water consumption while extending pump life through lower average speeds. The dry-run protection operates without the need to install probes or sensors in the well.
The device is selected for the pump according to its power and current, while constant pressure is set using a simple range of settings in automatic or manual mode. It is factory-compatible with a three-wire 0.5–4.5 V pressure sensor, which can be replaced with a 4–20 mA sensor if required.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ) – What is the IVR 05 inverter used for?
What is the IVR 05 inverter used for?
The IVR 05 inverter is a controller that maintains constant water pressure in the system by smoothly regulating the speed of the connected pump. Powered by single-phase 1×230 V, it can control a single-phase pump or, after changing the setting, a three-phase 3×230 V pump, while also protecting it against dry running, overload, short circuits, and voltage fluctuations.
How does the IVR 05 inverter differ from a conventional pressure-boosting system?
A conventional pressure-boosting system switches the pump on in steps and relies on a large tank, causing pressure fluctuations. The IVR 05 inverter continuously adjusts the pump speed using SPWM technology with PID control, maintaining constant pressure and reducing energy consumption.
Which pumps is the IVR 05 compatible with?
The IVR 05 is designed for deep-well, surface, and submersible pumps rated from 0.75 to 2.2 kW and drawing up to 10.5 A. Powered by single-phase 1×230 V, it supports single-phase pumps and, after changing the setting, three-phase 3×230 V motors. In multi-pump systems, it can control up to 5 pumps, which switch between one another automatically.
Does the IVR 05 require installation by a professional installer?
Yes. The IVR 05 is not a household appliance and should be installed by a qualified person. Installation requires effective grounding and a residual-current device (RCD ≤ 30 mA); in residential environments, using an additional EMI interference filter is recommended.
Is the IVR 05 inverter covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?
IBO – 24 months (2 years) of manufacturer’s warranty. Dambat provides warranty and post-warranty service.
Where can the IBO IVR 05 inverter be purchased?
As a manufacturer, we do not sell directly. The IBO IVR 05 inverter is available from our retail partners, installation wholesalers, and authorized online distributors.
