The two -way cooling thermostatic valve is used to protect the heat source against overheating in the central heating installation. The valve in the brass body is equipped with two thermostatic members.
After reaching the border temperature, the drain valve opens and allows the removal of overheated water from the heat source to the sewage system. At the same time, the water supplementing valve from the water supply network is opened.
When the temperature drops below the border temperature, both valves close at the same time.
The two -way thermostatic valve does not replace the safety valve.
It is intended for boilers with a maximum power of 500 kW, with end cooling up to 100 kW (according to EN 303-5: 2012).
It cannot be mounted with the valve head down.
