The GX grinding pump has a suction cutting system that enables grinding of solids. These pumps are used wherever it is necessary to pump dirty liquid through pipes of relatively small diameter, often already installed. Applications: domestic sewage, liquids with solids, wherever high pressure is required.
Characteristics
All main components are made of GG20 cast iron. A mechanical and lip seal in the oil chamber guarantees proper operation of the product.
GX grinder pump – Advantages
The vacuum axial cutting system with a hardened steel knife in GX pumps ensures effective grinding of the contents domestic sewage. The knife rotating inside the pump inlet works like a milling cutter, cutting and grinding everything into small pieces, so you can pump sewage through thin pipes with a diameter of up to DN40. The shape of the knife and the precisely adjustable disc mean that the risk of debris wrapping around rotating parts is very low. The protrusions protruding from the disc effectively break the braid that often forms around the knife (which is most often the cause of blocked rotor).
GX grinder pump installations
GX pumps are intended for domestic and domestic sewage pumping stations and for compact pumping stations often located in buildings. Pumps with axial solid grinding systems can be successfully installed on coupling feet, e.g. EASY 3.1 or EASY 3.2, in pumping stations of the type DRENO BOX or coupling feet DUTY 50.
Controlling a home pump with a grinder
GX series pumps can be controlled or built-in float switch or an external signal, e.g. from the M121 or M131 controller (single or three-phase). For more demanding customers, we can offer advanced control systems with 3, 4 or more floats, with a hydrostatic probe or according to the customer's wishes.
