Characteristics
All major components are made of GG20 cast iron. The mechanical and lip seals ensure correct product operation. They are also available in a new EVO version with a double mechanical seal in the oil chamber.

The parameters of the Alpha V pump provide an alternative to pumps with macerators, which often become clogged, exposing users to operating difficulties. The 35 mm free passage beneath the impeller for contaminants ensures long-term operation without the need for intervention. The open six-blade Vortex impellers handle even fibrous wastewater contents perfectly, while macerators act like winding machines. Macerator blades quickly become blunt in wastewater, acting like wedges and blocking the pump. Wastewater pumps with a free passage beneath the impeller are free from these disadvantages. The impeller’s thick walls are sufficient for many years of operation in raw domestic wastewater.
When selecting a pump, check the parameters of the available pipeline, as the diameter of the discharge pipe or the terrain geometry may sometimes require the use of greater power.
Control
Alpha V is available in four versions, combining single- and three-phase power supplies with control by a built-in float or an external signal. To control septic tank pumps (except versions with a built-in float), we recommend simple controllers M121 (230 V) or M131 (400 V), or IPC 140 in version M (230 V) or T (400 V). For more demanding users and dual-pump lifting stations, we offer professional relay-contactor and microprocessor-controlled power and control panels.
Possible applications
With a suitable hose connection, it becomes a lightweight portable pump for drainage and for working with liquids containing large amounts of solids (gravel, sand, waste). The Alpha V septic tank pump can easily water a garden with rainwater, drain a flooded garage or basement, and pump water from a pond or ditch into another tank. Alpha V has stable feet extending from the pump body, allowing it to stand on a level surface while providing sufficient clearance beneath the body for water intake.
Like every DRENO wastewater pump, it comes standard with a 10-meter power cable. All Alpha V pumps have a vertical outlet, so they are not compatible with coupling feet, e.g. the EASY type.
