If the valve has frequent contact with the medium due to the small dimensions of the tank, it is much safer to place it under the lowest sewage level so that it passes through the sewage-air point as little as possible. When there is no access to air, corrosion processes that may occur will last much longer than during continuous flooding and drying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIn the case of operation of two or more pumps in a tank, ball check valves not only prevent the return of the pumped liquid from the tank, but also the return of the liquid pumped by one of the pumps. In the absence of non-return valves, when one pump pumps through the other discharge pipe, the sewage returns.
